We installed these in our shower. Got rid of that tall corner plastic pole with little triangle shelves on it that nothing would fit in and it would keep getting moved or hit and was a pain. These go on tight and have not moved and we have a LOT of bottles of shampoos etc in them. And my huge bottles of shampoo that would not fit on other shelves or racks fit on these wonderfully. Will buy more if needed.
I was so disappointed when I received these shelves. I’ve had similar shelves in my shower for 2+ years and decided to replace them since my daughter had broken one in her attempts to be a shower singer … a story for another time.. anywho.. I thought about just buying a replacement of the same ones I had but these ones were on for a great deal and so I rolled the dice. What a disappointing dice roll it was. Not only are they much more shallow than my originals but the hooks are very cheaply made (to attach the shelf to the adhesive backing) the backing itself looked to be similar to my old ones but boy was I WRONG! I cleaned my tiles with chemicals and proceeded to steam clean immediately after to remove any residue… I hand dried and let the grout dry throughly before I made my move to apply the adhesive…. I applied it, pressed it out with a flat backed credit card to remove any possible air bubbles… let her sit for over 24Hrs before applying the shelves and let them sit for another 12hrs attached with nothing on them … WAY LONGER THAN IS RECOMMENDED just to be safe. We added way less products to these selves since I was nervous with how shallow they were… well… it’s been 3 weeks and the first one is already fallen to its death… the adhesive came right off the wall causing the shelf and all its contents to be thrown around our glass shower…. I will not be keeping these suckers up and will be buying my OG ones to replace these … off to the trash they will go. Save your money and invest a few more dollars into the ones that are deeper and have a better adhesive backing.
The baskets look good easy to install and hold shower stuff well. When installing be very, very careful of your replacement as once the adhesive holder sticks it sticks so well it you’ll never get it off and if you do, you’ll need another way to attach the basket back to the shower wall. I know this as I made a mistake in placement and during the removal of the mounting bracket by the time it came off the tile walls. It was totally destroyed. I plan on using alien tape to remote the basket to the tile wall.
