This is a solid 4K television
I purchased this device to replace an older LG television and for the most part, it operates similarly. One thing to remember when watching media on USB hard drive is that the drive must be formatted to exFAT (rather than NTFS). Even though the instructions recommend nothing larger than 2TB, I have been successfully watching media on 4TB drives. This television comes with an extensive user agreement where you have to accept that LG is going to collect lots of information… so my first move after accepting the agreement was to turn off the wifi. I don't have cable and I don't stream, everything I watch is on hard disk or Blu-Ray so this allows me to prevent them from collecting any information.

Great picture, easy set up. The remote takes a minute to get comfortable with, the little pointer mouse is tricky the further away you are from the TV, but I'm okay with it. Sound is pretty good for a thin TV, and when I want more, I just turn on my surround sound to boom away. 55" was the biggest for my space.

We hated this TV, which is why we are returning it. The icons on the main screen are very small, so its hard to find the one you want. We are used to a ROKU tv but took a chance on this one. We hate it. The worst part though is the remote. It has a pointer like a mouse pointer that appears on the screen that you cant get rid of. The pointed gets in the way of TV watching but the worst part is it causing functions on using the TV to be weird and clunky. I highly recommend not getting this TV

I love this TV. I got this to replace my 14 year old 43” LG LED/LCD TV, which I had no problems with other than I just wanted to upgrade. So, I passed the old LG TV on to my grandson who just moved into his first apartment. I find the LG brand to be of great quality. It arrived safely via UPS and was packed very well.
