Avoid Obstacles

1. Please note the actual receiving range may highly depend on your distance and location. Areas with large obstructions such as valleys, mountains, etc, will reduce effective range. Always re-scan channels after moving the HDTV antenna, the result may be better.

2. We do NOT Recommend to use the amplifier or booster if your house is very close to the broadcast tower and the signal is already very strong.

Reception Tips:

1. If you are more than 40 miles away the closest broadcast towers Or If the broadcasting signals are weak,pls try to couple with Chaowei AMP1801 TV signal amplifier, then DVB66 Digital TV Antenna will outperform an indoor amplified HDTV antenna by leaps and bounds

2. Attach the magnetic base antenna to a few iron things will help improve the reception. And the magnetic bottom makes it setting a lot more stable and sturdy than other products out there

3. If your antenna DOES NOT WORK at all,pls kindly check as follows:

Make sure your TV has a built-in ATSC tuner (TV manufactured before 2009 have no ATSC tuner); If NO, pls get a HDTV receiver/digital converter box(set top box) to work with it;Make sure you install the antenna correctly on your TV and the ANTENNA/CABLE IN port is in good condition;Make sure there are available broadcast signals in your area, and they are strong, Make sure NO Obstacles in/around your house, such as heavy metal door, powerful running machine(like metro) ,working household appliances, tall trees and buildingsTry to move it around your house or Try scans from a couple different places and angles to see where you would get the best reception.

4. If our antenna receive less channels than your old antenna, pls kindly check the signal strength and the distance to the tower to determine if you need an signal booster to boost signals and amplify the receiving range;

5. If you can’t receive some Hi-V or Lo-V channels, pls check with your local TV station if those frenquency transmitted in horizontal from their transmitter, if “Yes”, you may need a directional TV antenna like rabbit ears.

6. Try to mount this antenna outside or put it on windowsills for optimal reception when you found some channels out and in.
